About The Nayak
ENThe Nayak is a non-partisan civic education and public-service initiative supported by Ardh Sainik Welfare Trust (Regd.), India. It has been created to prepare responsible citizens who understand their communities, listen to people, identify genuine public needs and contribute through lawful and constructive service.
The programme combines 12 professional learning sessions with practical field activities. Participants learn about constitutional values, democratic institutions, government departments, area-needs assessment, citizen communication, official grievance channels, public-service activity planning, ethics, digital responsibility and community participation. Each participant ultimately prepares a structured 90-Day Area Public-Service Action Plan.
The Nayak does not function as a political party, election campaign, government authority or ticket-distribution platform. Participation does not provide any government position, statutory power or political status. The programme focuses on civic awareness, ethical leadership, accurate information, responsible conduct and measurable service.
Participants are expected to work without discrimination, false promises, political pressure or misuse of public trust. They are trained to guide citizens toward appropriate institutions and official channels while respecting dignity, privacy, consent and the limits of their role.
Our Motto: Learn Public Service. Serve Your Area. Build Public Trust.
